Lee Needler

Lee S. Needler, age 70, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at home with his family at his side on Friday August 9, 2024. He was born on May 28, 1954 in Meadville, PA to the late Donald and Helen (Scott) Needler.  He married Donna Needler on June 22, 1974.  They just celebrated their 50th Anniversary. She survives.

He was a 1972 graduate of Meadville High School.  He then did his Journeyman apprenticeship at Talon.  He worked at various tool shops in the area and settled at Leech Tool and Die, where he worked for over 30 years until his retirement.

Lee was a lifelong member of St. Brigid Catholic Church. He was a social member of VFW Post 2006, Elks Lodge and West Mead Firehall #29.  He served as the president of CCYHA for 2 terms.  He also enjoyed golf, woodworking and hunting.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his son, Brandon Needler and his wife, Amy of Cochranton, PA and his daughter, Larrah Owens and her husband, Alan of Guys Mills, PA; his grandchildren, Mckenna Butryn and her husband, Levi, Brooklyn Needler, Phineas Owens and Sebastian Owens and his late beloved dog, Ferris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Needler Jr. and Allen “Zip” Needler.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday August 14, 2024 from 11 am- 1 pm at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, St Brigid Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, PA 16335. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm at the church.  A private burial will take place at St. Brigid’s Cemetery.
