Lela Jardine

Lela graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1927 and attended Meadville Commercial College. She was employed by Meadville Personal Finance Company as a cashier/secretary. She married William Edward Jardine on November 5, 1930, in Meadville. After their marriage they moved to Ogden, UT and later to Long Island, NY where their son was born. William died in Mineola, NY, March 19, 1943. After her husband's death she moved to Bay City, MI until her retirment to Austin in 1972. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bay City.
