Leonard Husband Jr.

Leonard Husband Jr., age 46, of Wadsworth Ave., Meadville, PA passed away on December 27, 2023 at Sharon Regional Hospital.  He was born on November 27, 1977 in Erie, PA to the late Leonard Husband Sr. and Shirley Ann Briggs.  He married Maria Rosado-Husband on December 14, 2006.  She survives.

Leonard attended Strong Vincent High School in Erie, PA.  He was a member of Holy Trinity Church of God In Christ in Erie, PA.

Leonard was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan.  He was a sports fan in general, but loved the Cowboys.  He was one of the best basketball players ever!!!(NBA level) He loved to shoot pool and he loved the Lord.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Husband of Meadville, PA and his four sons, Lemaro Rosado-Husband, Marcelles Rosado-Husband and his wife, Kimmy, Jashawn Husband and Elijah Rosado-Husband all of Meadville, PA; his granddaughter, Ahlani Jade Rosado-Husband; two sisters, Barbara Husband and Maryann Husband both of Erie, PA; two brothers, Jim Husband  and his wife, Cylena of Sharon, PA and Carl Briggs of Erie, PA; many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his brother from another mother, Tyrone Mims.

Leonard also has a brother, James Earl Briggs, whose survivorship and whereabouts are currently unknown.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his brothers, infant twins, Jim and Jimmy Husband.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday January 6, 2024 from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 pm at St. John’s Baptist Church, 792 N. Main St., Meadville with Bishop-Designate Cameron T. Bowman Sr. of St. John’s Baptist Church officiating.  Visitors and loved ones are encouraged to wear Dallas Cowboys colors and/or apparel in his honor.
