Leora Jane Haregsin

Leora Jane Haregsin, age 89, of Cambridge Springs, PA passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie. She was born in Brownsville, PA the daughter of the late William Teasdale and Maude Gue Teasdale. Leora was a very active member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Cambridge Springs. She helped her church distribute food through the second harvest food bank. She also was very active within the Bartlett Gardens, where she resided for 22 years. She would help others by taking them to doctor's appointments and other errands. She also enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds. Leora is survived by her children: son: David Haregsin Jr. and his wife Martie of Cambridge Springs, PA, daughter: Kathy Haregsin of Pittsburgh, PA, son: Ed Haregsin and his wife Sharon of Guys Mills, PA, eight grandchildren: Heather Baden, Beth Knight, Genna Zollner, Joely Haregsin, Hunter Haregsin, Jerred Hodak, Jennifer Stone and Michael Hodak, 13 great-grandchildren, four grandfurbabies: Buddy, Charlie, Gabby and Baxter. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Leora was preceded in death by her former husband: David Michael Haregsin Sr., brothers and sisters: Harold Teasdale, William Teasdale, Ruth Turner, Mildred Haregsin, Nonie Vey and Bo Teasdale. All are invited to a "Celebration of Life Service" on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cambridge Springs Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, 257 Church Street, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403, with the Rev. Jeff Kiel, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Christian & Missionary Alliance church, 257 Church Street, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
