Leslie James Kreider

            Leslie James Kreider, age 74, of Saegertown, PA passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Quality Living Center.             He was born April 9, 1942 in Erie, PA the son of the late James Kreider and Cora Lasher Kreider.             Leslie attended Albion Schools and General McLane Schools.  He had worked at Vallonia Industries in Meadville for several years. He had attended the United Methodist Church in Albion and Frances United Methodist Church in Girard, PA and was a member of the OASIS club and the Special Olympics for many years.  He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.             Leslie is survived by six sisters: Marie Kreider of Albion, PA, DeEtta Lawrence of Lake City, PA, Corrine Chase and her husband Jim of Guys Mills, PA, Marjorie Ross of Meadville, PA and Mary Knightlinger of Union City, PA, Linda Hall of Union City, PA, two brothers: Calvin Kreider of Albion, PA and Donald Burlingham of Greenville, PA.  He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.             In addition to his parents, Leslie was preceded in death by a brother William Kreider.             Family and friends may call on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral at 2PM, at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA, with Pastor Dave Brumagin, officiating.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, PA             Memorial contributions can be made to the Arc of Crawford County, 222 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or to the Special Olympics, 222 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335             Please sign Leslie’s online obituary at hatheway-tedesco.com             Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335
