Lila Golden

Lila Rosalyn Morton Golden, age 91, formerly of Cambridge Springs and Wesbury, went to glory on January 11, 2016, at the Marquette Hospice House, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jeffrey Golden on December 22, 2010; a son, William Deward Golden, and a daughter Mary Lee Golden. Lila is survived by two daughters: Dr. Lee Ann Grace, and her husband Howard Henry of Buffalo, N.Y., and Dr. Kathleen Michele Golden, and her husband Michael Laniewicz of Cambridge Springs, PA. Also surviving are grandsons: Michael Grace and Brian Tuskan; and two great grandchildren: Andrew Grace and Abigail Grace. She was a graduate of Meadville High School, Class of 1942, and was an active member of the Cambridge Springs Presbyterian Church.   Lila retired from Reyer’s Shoe Store of Sharon, PA in 2005. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Golden will be held on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 2 PM at the Cambridge Springs Presbyterian Church, 338 S. Main Street, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403, with Rev. Tommy O’Leary, the Pastor of the Church Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cambridge Springs Presbyterian Church, 338 S. Main Street, Cambridge Springs, PA 16403.
