Linda J. (Grinnell) Ball, age 75, of Geneva, PA passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on December 27, 2018. She was born June 11, 1943 in Geneva, PA to the late James A. and Martha B. (Davison) Grinnell. She married James D. Ball on June 17, 1967. He survives. Linda graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 1961. She was employed as a Dietary Aide at the City Hospital in Meadville. She was also a babysitter and homemaker. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church of Geneva, PA. She was very active in her church and community. Linda enjoyed spending time with family, visiting with friends and neighbors on the front porch and reading. She is survived by her husband, James of 51 years; two daughters, Yvonne Longstreth and her husband, John of Meadville, PA, Valerie Turner and her husband, John of Meadville, PA; two sons, Dave Ball of Conneaut Lake, PA and Trent Ball; six grandchildren, John S. Longstreth II, Ashley (Longstreth) Lesnick, John E. Turner III, Mackenzie (Turner) Carlstrom, Megan A. Ball and Abby G. Ball; one great granddaughter, Riley Maye Carlstrom and one great grandson on the way; a sister-in-law, Laura Fails of Conneaut, OH; a nephew, Brian Bailey of Meadville, PA and her faithful dog, Kenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda S. Bailey. Family and friends are invited to call at Dickson Funeral Home, Conneaut Lake Sunday, December 30 from 5-8 p.m. and Monday, December 31 from 10-11 a.m. with the service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Miller and Pastor Joy Mumford officiating.
