Linda Laidlaw

Linda A. Laidlaw, age 60, of Meadville, PA passed away at home on Friday January 19, 2024.  She was born on January 1, 1964 in Port Huron, MI to the late William L. (Ted) and Alice B. (Stecker) Laidlaw.  She married Tammy M. Grove on April 9, 2016.  She survives.

Linda graduated from Marysville High School in MI.  She earned her Master’s Degree from Central Michigan University.  She worked for PepsiCo for many years and retired from there.

Linda attended Christ Episcopal Church.  She played the saxophone throughout high school and college. She attended the Interlochen Arts Summer Camp for musicians. She earned a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and she golfed with the “Battleground Lady Swingers” golf league.  Most of all, Linda was known for her friendly nature, her big heart and her quick wit.

In addition to her beloved wife, Tammy, she is survived by her bonus daughter, Kaitlyn Beck and her husband, Jeff of Capitol Heights, MD; her brother, Will Laidlaw and his wife, Lisa of Port Huron, MI and her nephews, Alex Laidlaw and his wife, Rachelle and Liam Laidlaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Laurel Laidlaw and her loving partner, Mary Gathergood.

There will be a private memorial service held at Christ Episcopal Church at the convenience of the family. Linda will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fort Gratiot Township, MI.
