Lisa Cree

Lisa Diane (Peters) Cree, 60, of Crafton, PA unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

Lisa was born on June 3, 1960 in Meadville, PA to the late Robert and Linda (Seiple) Peters. She graduated from Saegertown High School in 1978.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Tootsie, watching the Pittsburgh Pirates play baseball, crocheting, and bowling. She was inducted into the Western Crawford County Bowling Hall of Fame in 2005. She lived every day to see her children and grandchildren succeed in sports and dance. She enjoyed supporting them on the sidelines and being involved in all of their activities. She loved her weekend trips with her grandchildren, taking them shopping, and spoiling them every minute of every day. Her grandchildren called her Nene.

She is survived by two daughters, Amber (Brent) Gabel of Meadville and April (William) Bowman of Conneaut Lake; three grandchildren who were the light of her life, Carmen, Skylar, and Trapper Bowman; her ex-husband/friend, James (Jill) McGowan of Meadville; two sisters, Shelley Peters of Valdosta, Georgia and Rhonda (David) Stallard of Lafayette, Indiana; two nieces and two nephews, Brian Scott, Kelli, Missy, and Matthew Stallard, all of Indiana; and four great nieces and nephews.

Lisa was preceded in death by both of her parents.

A memorial service to celebrate Lisa's life will be held at a later date.
