Lloyd Cutshall

October 31, 1947 — April 30, 2021

Lloyd O. Cutshall, age 73, of Meadville, PA passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center after a brief illness.   He was born on October 31, 1947 in Meadville, PA to the late Floyd and Edna (Dillaman) Cutshall.

He was a 1966 graduate of Saegertown High School.  He retired from PPG maintenance department after over 40 years of employment.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Lloyd was of Christian faith.  He attended New Beginnings Church of God.

His family meant everything to him.  He could often be found watching his grandchildren’s activities.  He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting.   He coached softball in the Saegertown area for 23 years and was a 4-H leader for the Saegertown Sheep and Swine 4-H Club. He was a lifetime member of James D. Bowers VFW in Venango, PA and the Lake Edinboro Sportsman’s Club.

Lloyd is survived by his former spouse and close friend, Brenda Cutshall; three daughters, Tina Craft and her husband, Clinton of Meadville, PA, Lori Lippincott and her husband, Kevin of Townville, PA and Barbra Beck and her husband, Matthew of Cambridge Springs; grandchildren, Dylan, Travis and Kendall Craft and Chase and Brody Beck; great grandchildren, Darren and Matthew Craft; two sisters, Jessie Leszek and her husband, Frank of Saegertown, PA and Carol Mears and her husband, Larry of Cambridge Springs and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Ron Byers.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday May 3, 2021 from 2-5 pm at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.  A service will be held at 5:00 pm at the church with Pastor Walter Clark officiating.  Full military honors will be provided by Erie/Crawford Veteran’s Burial Detail.

The family would like to thank the Meadville Medical Center ICU staff for their excellent care and kindness during his time there.
