Lorin Baxter

Lorin Baxter, age 67, of Meadville, PA left this Earth to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. He was born on March 29, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late John and Elizabeth Forse Baxter. Lorin enjoyed the best of his life helping everyone he knew. Lorin's greatest past times were advocating and being a voice to the government for the people. He enjoyed doing math, crafts, baking cookies, spending time at CHAPS with his many friends. Lorin was a person who had the smile that could make anyone's day. He chose to live his life with the roll of the eyes and the laughter that could melt your heart. Lorin, take care and have luck. Lorin leaves behind a sister, Norma Jean Baxter of Conneaut Lake, PA, a brother, Kevin Baxter and his wife, Patty of Linesville, PA and their three children along with his closest and dearest friends, Dale and Bette Funkhouser; and his dear life skills coach, PeggyYanacek. Lorin was preceded in death by his father, John Baxter and his mother, Elizabeth Baxter and a brother, John W. Baxter. Calling hours will be from 1 to 2 PM on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 The funeral service will be at 2 PM on Monday.
