Louise A. Reed

Louise A. Reed, age 89, formerly of Meadville, PA and a resident of the Crawford County Care Center, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Care Center. She was born August 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Leo Templehof and Abby Dean Templehof.  She married William Reed on March 5, 1946.  He preceded her in death. Louise, along with her husband Bill, owned the Bill-A-Lou Skating Rink in Grove City, where she taught skating.  She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Franklin.   She was a member of the Studebaker Club in Erie, the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club and enjoyed riding motorcycles.  She also enjoyed computer games and attending car shows.             She is survived by three daughters:  Carol Roberts and her husband Russell of South Carolina, Barbara Johns and Dave Phillips of Meadville, PA, Debra Kline of South Carolina, a son: Dr. Thomas Reed and his wife Nancy of South Carolina, six grandchildren: Angie, Bill, Brian, LouAnne, Shawn and Kristen, Several great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Henry Templehof and Albert Templehof and two sisters: Doris Huber of New Hampshire, and Barbara Petti. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in the Espyville Cemetery.
