March 31, 2008 — July 24, 2020

Maggie Mae Proudfoot, age 12, of Carlton, PA passed away on July 24, 2020 at home with her family and pets after a long battle with Childhood Leukemia. She was born on March 31, 2008 to Mandy Proudfoot and the late Thomas T. Haun.

Maggie was a true animal lover. She loved to catch frogs and lizards. She enjoyed training kittens, swimming and fishing and playing in the creek and picking dandelions and gardening. She aspired to move to Alaska and be a dog sledder and a frog farmer. Maggie was the light in everyone’s life that she met. She was an incredibly happy young lady that loved life in every way.  No one will ever know the pain, the suffering, the sleepless nights of sickness, the endless traveling, endless medications, endless pokes, endless appointments, constant worry and fear that comes with cancer. She will be greatly missed by all that loved her and most of all, by her Mother and Grandmother that have the deepest and greatest love for her.

She is survived by her mother, Mandy Proudfoot; her grandmother, Barbara Munson; great uncle, David Proudfoot; two aunts, Jennifer Proudfoot and Lacy Sposkoski and her husband, Daniel; one uncle, Charles Munson and numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents and two uncles.
