Marcine R. Long

Marcine R. Long, age 74, formerly of Cambridge Springs, went to be with the Lord on Saturday January, 19, 2013, at the St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA. Marcine was born March 29, 1938, in Cambridge Springs, the daughter of Clyde and Helen (Root) Long. She had been employed at Rusco Industries as a data processing supervisor. Marcine was a member, a deacon, and elder, of the Cambridge Springs Presbyterian Church. Marcine also served on the Cambridge Springs Boro Council. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, bowling and cooking. For many years her family operated a rooming house in Cambridge Springs. It was known to many as the house with the "Rooms with Bath" sign hanging on the front porch. Marcine was preceded in death by her mother, father and a brother Vance. She is survived by several cousins, including: Marla Bell and Nyla Penn of Erie. A memorial Service will be held on Marcine's birthday, March 29th, 2013, at the Cambridge Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Tommy O'Leary, Pastor of the Church and Rev. David Snyder of the Erie First Alliance Church officiating. Interment will be in Upper Cambridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church at 338 S.
