Margaret Campbell

Margaret Jean “Jeanne” Campbell, age 90, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 26, 2022.  She was born on August 24, 1932 in Meadville, PA to the late James Allen and Genevieve Margaret (Holton) Ketcham.

Jeanne graduated from Meadville High School.  She worked various jobs including Talon and GTI but was most known for her waitressing and bartending at the Lamplighter and High Light in Meadville.  She also occasionally worked benefits and events at the ICC and Eagles Club.

She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles in her spare time.  She loved to get her hair done and also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Danny Martin Alexander of Meadville, PA; eleven grandchildren, Laurie Kiger, Wallace Shaw, Crystal Weinrauch, Tina Davis, Chon Kibler, Chuck Alexander, Davide Alexander, Tom Alexander, Joe Alexander, Kimberly Alexander and Veralynn Alexander; many great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Jean Schwab and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents (Grandmother Estella Margaret Holton-whom she lived with all of her life); her parents; her daughter, Debra Lee Langley and her son, Gary Allen Alexander; her brother, James Allen Ketcham; her step-father, Joseph Martin Schwab and her brother, Joseph Anthony Schwab.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jeanne will be laid to rest at Cochranton Cemetery.
