Margaret L. Dietrich, 82, died January 15th, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center with family lovingly by her side. Margaret was born July 26th, 1938 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William and Nellie Hall and had two sisters. The close-knit family lived in Bellevue before moving to the Central Northside Mexican War Streets where her parents stayed to share and create many wonderful memories with their grandchildren. Her baking and cooking brought the family together for years and her recipes will be passed down and remembered for even longer. Margaret was also a gifted quilter, painter, seamstress, drawer, and doll maker, just to name a few. Her pieces have won awards and acknowledgments in local shows for which she and her family are very proud.
Margaret is survived by five of her children:   Edward (Buddy) Dietrich Jr., William (Bill) Loudon, James Dietrich and his partner, Karen, Evelyn Dietrich-Knapo and her spouse, John, Marilyn Dietrich-Blakeslee and her husband, Kenny. She had nine grandchildren: Eric and Danielle Hartsell, Quentin and Courtney Loudon, Jacob, Julia, and Haley Knapo, Arran and Sarah Blakeslee; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sisters, Ruth Hall Foreman, and Olive Hall, and her daughter, Cynthia Hartsell.
