Margaret Elizabeth Bush Hetrick

Margaret Elizabeth Bush Hetrick, age 94, of Hartstown, PA, passed on Sunday, April 19, 2016 at the White Cliff Health and Rehabilitation Center, Greenville, PA. Margaret was born in Coolspring, PA, November 29, 1921: the daughter of the late Charles J. Bush and Grace L. Huffman Bush Blose. She married Kenneth Thomas Hetrick on February 16, 1945 and was a housewife until 1975; Kenneth preceded her in death on June 15, 1999. She was a member of St. John Reform Church of Punxsutawney. During World War II, she moved to Greenville, PA with her parents and worked at Quaker Dry Cleaners as assistant manager from 1943 until 1945. She then went to work at Buffalo Mold Plastic Plant in Andover, OH until her retirement in November 1986. At Buffalo Mold she was a press operator and made automobile parts for General Motors and Chrysler. Margaret was a breast cancer survivor. She loved spending time gardening, cooking and baking. She was an animal lover and enjoyed collecting recipes as well as a collector of salt and pepper shakers. She was an extrememly hard worker. Margaret is survived by two sons Charles Hetrick of Hartstown, PA and Larry Hetrick Sr. of Cochranon, PA, daughters–in-law Ginny Hetrick, Cindy Hetrick, Sandy Ciccarone, grandchildren: Dr. Larry Hetrick Jr. of California, Linda (Hetrick) Middleton and her partner Pam Christenson of Conneaut Lake, LaTonya (Hetrick) Jones of Greenville, Jamie (Hetrick) and Jason Longo of Meadville, Nathan and Samantha Hetrick of Meadville, Corey Hetrick of Conneaut Lake, and Lee Hetrick of Erie; and great grandchildren: Justin Middleton, Kayla Jones, Kenneth Jones, Cambrie Longo, Carlie Longo, Irulan Walker-Hetrick, Dawson Walker-Hetrick, Coltan Hetrick, Daylyn Hetrick, and Jonathan Middleton. She is also survived by brothers Wayne Bush, of Greenville, William “Bud’ Bush of Greenville, a sister Ruby Kelly and her husband Paul, of Hartstown, and Shirley Combs of Punxsutawney, PA and a sister-in-law Edna Bush.            In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband,a son David Hetrick, who passed November 18, 2007, a great-granddaughter: Jessica Middleton, sisters: Mary L. Bush, Betty Powell, Sara Hannah, and Gertrude Adams.             Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
