Margaret Magdalene Bado (Winters) Woodruff, 97 passed away December 12, 2018 in Meadville at Wesbury United Methodist Home where she had been a resident for several years. She was born in Homestead, PA May 21, 1921. She was a graduate of Meadville Area High School in the class of 1938 and until recent years attended her high school class reunions. Margaret served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She lived most of her life in Saegertown or Meadville and spent many years working in the restaurant business in Meadville. Before retiring to Avon Park, FL. she returned to Meadville due to failing health. Throughout her life Margaret enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Helen (Toboz) Bado; three brothers, Robert, Joseph and William; husband Donald Winters (who was killed in Korea); husband Clarence Woodruff and stepdaughter Margaret Cremonese. She is survived by sons David Winters and partner Lori Shorts of Meadville; Douglas Winters and wife Padie (Dodds) of San Marcos, CA; Robert Woodruff and wife Patti (Vogan) of McDonough, GA; Timothy Woodruff of Meadville; daughter-in-law Christine (Chess) Woodruff of Meadville; seven granddaughters, two grandsons, and six great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service for family and friends at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to HATHEWAY-TEDESCO FUNERAL HOME, 614 BALDWIN ST., MEADVILLE, PA.
