Marian L. Klink, 93, of Hartstown, PA passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Marian was born in Hartstown, PA on December 18, 1930, the daughter of the late William P. and Ethel O. (Wilson) West. She married Earl Klink on September 5, 1953. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2014.
Marian was a 1947 Graduate of Pymatuning Joint (Jamestown) High School. She worked as a secretary for 7 years for J.R. Andrews, Inc. of Adamsville. She then worked for 28 years as a rural carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Hartstown until she retired on December 28, 1990.
Marian’s faith and love for God was the cornerstone of her life. She enjoyed church activities, spending time with all of the family and being with Earl (Boots) on their farm. Her love of God was evident in the joy she found in her family by attending the many events in their lives. She was generous with her time and compassion as she cared for her many family members throughout her life. Marian was a member, Elder, Sunday School teacher and a member of the Hazlett Missionary Society of the Hartstown Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Hartstown Cemetery Association and served as the secretary-treasurer for many years.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Helbig and her husband, Merle of Hartstown, PA; three sons, Thomas Klink of Hartstown, PA, James Klink and his wife, Beverly of Hartstown, PA, and Richard Klink and his wife, Sandra of Hartstown, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Rachel Mitchell, Michael Klink and his wife, Kathleen, Ryan Klink and his wife, Serena, Matthew Klink and his wife, Jennifer, Hannah Fuller and her husband, Jason, Heather Harmon and her husband, Charles, Adam Klink and his wife, Anna, Michelle Williams and her husband, Christopher, Emily Maloney and her husband, Patrick, Cecilyann Dilley and her husband, Cody, Ella Klink and Lindy Fry and her husband, Wyatt. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Alexandria Brooks and her husband, Liam, Anna Klink, Morgan Klink, Gregory Klink, Brevin Klink, Savannah Wertelet, Allison Harmon, Julia Klink, Emma Fuller, Ella Fuller, Landen Klink, Joshua Harmon, Willow Klink, Jarrett Klink, Kate Fuller, Xander Klink, Melina Klink, Auldrain Maloney, Tyler Williams, Emerson Dilley, Lachlan Maloney, Leah Williams, Evelyn Maloney, Charlotte Fry, Evelyn Fry, Claire Williams and Vivian Fry and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marian was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilfred West and his wife, Emma, William West and his wife, Rose and Robert West and his wife, Melva; an infant grandson, Nathan Earl Klink; a granddaughter, Christine Stallard-Klink, a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Klink and a great-grandson, Wilson Dilley.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday December 30,2023 from 4-7 PM and on Sunday December 31,2023 from 1PM until the time of the funeral service at 2PM, officiated by Reverend David Oyler at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
