Marion Griggs

Marion E. Griggs, age 94, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away at Park Avenue Rehabilitation on October 5, 2016.             She was born on August 6, 1922 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late Harry Harding and Florence Devenny Harding.             Marion worked as a homemaker and at Talon during World War II. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Meadville. She was member of the Ladies Auxiliary Conneaut Lake Park Fire Department in 1965. Marion was an avid bowler in her younger years. She enjoyed the company of her cats, watching TV especially soap operas, Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins games.             Marion is survived by a granddaughter: Linda Garvin and her husband William of Conneaut Lake, PA, two great-grandchildren: Melissa Stroup of Jamestown, PA and Amanda Garvin of Conneaut Lake, two great-great-children: Gavin Stroup and Kaylie Eckenrode.             In addition to her parents Marion was preceded in death by a daughter Jill Westerman, and a sister Florence “Sis” Bahurinsky-McKelvey.             Family and friends may call on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 5 PM until the time of the memorial service at 6 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 North Second Street, Conneaut Lake,. with the Rev.
