Marjorie L. Betts

Marjorie L. Betts, 79 of Meadville, went to be with her Savior on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community, where she resided for the past 2 years.  Marjorie was born November 5, 1938 in Meadville the daughter of the late John R. Turner and Edith Mary Klingensmith.             She was a lifelong member of The Salvation Army, where she had served in many capacities. Marjorie had attended Meadville High School and Edinboro State College.             Survivors include daughters: Karen Betts, Meadville, Debra Beck, Cambridge Springs, a son: David Beck and his wife Tammy, Meadville, ten grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.             In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by a son: Kenneth Beck, a daughter: Patti Mace and a great-grandson: Dustin Beck.             Friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until time of the Memorial Service at 11 AM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at The Salvation Army, 1087 Park Avenue, Meadville.             Memorials in her memory can be made to The Salvation Army, 1087 Park Avenue, Meadville, PA 16335.             Please sign Marjorie’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com             Arrangements entrusted to the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335
