Marjorie Marie Kerecman

CHARDON, Ohio Marjorie Marie (Peterson) Kerecman, 91, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, in Chardon, Ohio. She was born May 17, 1923, in Cochranton. Marjorie was a wife and mother, and a receptionist for Dr. Langdon, veterinary practice, for more than 25 years. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Golden Crown Chapter 44. Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Dianne Savelli and her husband, Guy, of Kirtland, Ohio; sons, David Kerecman and wife, Kathy, of Dothan, Ala., Richard Kerecman and wife, Nancy, of Cornelius, N.C., and Daniel Kerecman and wife, Dyanne, of Cotopaxi, Colo.; grandchildren, Jay and Dayna, Kyle, Kari and Kip, Anna and Amy, Jennifer, Juliette, Sarah, Gaetano, and Grant; as well as 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Livingston of Greenville; and two brothers, Glenn Peterson and Stanley Peterson, both of Meadville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jennie Vaughn Peterson and Arden Peterson; and her husband of 35 years, George L. Kerecman, who passed in 1976. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Cecil Peterson, Robert Peterson, George Peterson, Carl Peterson, Donald Peterson, Clair Peterson and Lawrence Peterson; and three sisters, Virginia Artman, Eleanor Feldmiller and Janet Peterson. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at Dickson Funeral Home, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
