Marshall Stein

Marshall M. Stein, age 68, of Meadville, PA passed away on Friday February 28, 2025 at UPMC Hamot due to injuries from a fall. He was born September 14, 1956 in Meadville, PA to Ernest and Wilda (Williams) Stein. He married Rita Hasko on September 26, 1981. She survives.

Marshall was a graduate of Meadville High School. He worked for Strimbu Trucking and Mowris Tree Service.  He was a member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed spending mornings with his friend, Timothy Shultz and others. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Ernie.

In addition to his wife, Marshall is survived by his daughter, Julie Slagle of Townville, PA and his stepdaughter, Leslie Anderson and her husband, Charlie of Meadville, PA; five grandchildren, Natalie, Laura, Lydia and Will Slagle of Townville, PA and Chase Anderson of Meadville, PA; two sisters, Juanita Reid and her husband, James of Olean, NY and Christine Garvy of WA and three brothers, Rex Stein and his wife, Maryanne of Mercer, PA, Dallas Stein and his wife, Jean of Meadville, PA  and Alex Stein of Cochranton, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no public services per the family’s request.
