Martin Joseph Holeva

Martin Joseph Holeva, age 57, of Meadville passed away unexpectedly October 19, 2019.  He was born in Meadville on November 5, 1961 to the late John and Patricia (Hindle) Holeva.  He married Rose Heller on September 9, 2001.  She survives.

Marty enlisted in the United States Army Reserves.  He worked as an auto mechanic for many shops and owned his own garage for a time.  He is a former member of the ICC and a current member of Vernon Central.  Marty liked cars, enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rose; three daughters, Kristen Holeva, Ashley Holeva and Madison Heller, all of Meadville; two sons, Nathanial Holeva of Wisconsin and Mason Heller and his wife, Julia of Meadville; three grandchildren, Hugo and Greta Heller and Wynter Barnes; three sisters, Debbie Holeva, Patsy Crum- Holeva and Angel Peterson and her husband, Dana, all of Meadville; four brothers, John Holeva and his wife, Rebecca of Guys Mills, Ken Holeva of Meadville, Tim Holeva and his wife, Kerry of Meadville and Joe Holeva and his wife, Miria of Meadville and many nieces and nephews.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, JoAnna Holvea and his nephew, Marty Calzada.

Friends and family are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, PA at 1:00 p.m. with Father Andrew Boyd officiating.
