Marvin Dutch Shick

Dutch married Deanna Schreckengost on March 21, 1955, in Distant, PA. After high school he attended barber school and went to work at the Kerrtown Barber Shop in 1956. He later became the owner. This business eventually became the Boot Box, which he owned and operated with his wife for 34 years, and is still in operation today. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to his beloved family. He enjoyed spending time at his home in Meadville as well a spending time in Val d'Or, Canada with Deanna. He loved hunting, fishing and collecting antiques. He was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge 408.
