Mary Alice Corliss

Mary Alice Corliss, age 49, of Linesville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 24, 2016, at her residence.   She was born May 25, 1966 in Meadville, PA the daughter of John L. Hamilton and Peggy M. Calladine Hamilton. Mary Alice was married to Brian J. Corliss and have spent 22 years together, Brian survives her. She was a graduate of the Meadville High School Class of 1984. She most recently worked for the Conneaut Lake Veterinary Service; and had worked at Anesthesia Consultants for 15 years, and for the ARC for 14 years. Mary Alice is a member of the Protestant Faith, the Sportsmans’ Club, and Station 4.   She loved her time at the Playland Leisure Family Campground, where she had a permanent site for 17 years. She was very crafty and was an excellent baker. Surviving Mary Alice are: her husband Brian, her parents: John and Peggy of Meadville; 3 daughters: Brianna Corliss of Linesville, Rachel (Steve) Sterling of Townville, and Danielle Corliss (and her companion Chris Monroe) of Deltona, Florida; also 1 son Adam Meyers of Linesville; a brother Tim (Vanessa) Hamilton of Columbus , Ohio and their 3 children: Erin, Sara and Jessica Hamilton; her Grandmother Peggy Lebhaft of Conneautville; her former husband David Meyers of Conneaut Lake; and several beloved nieces and nephews. Preceding Mary Alice in death were: her grandparents: Michael C. Lebhaft, James Calladine, John and Mary Hamilton; an Aunt Patty Kantz and Uncle Thomas Smith. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, from 4-7 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St. Meadville, PA 16335. The funeral service for Mary Alice will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11 AM at the funeral home, with the Rev. Temple Jarrell, a pastor of the New Beginnings Church of Meadville, officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Linesville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 464 Pine St. Meadville, PA 16335.
