Mary Ann Hadden

Mary Ann Hadden, 96, formerly of Meadville, passed to be with our Lord on March 29, 2013 at Rolling Field Nursing Home, Conneautville, PA. She was born on July 14, 1916 at Kinnard, PA the daughter of the late James and Jennie Jamison Hoobler. She married Hugh Hadden in l935. He preceded her in death. Mary Ann retired from the American Viscose in 1976 having worked there for 37 years. Mary Ann Was a member of the First Baptist Church, Meadville, PA, a life member of Eastern Star #44, she was a member of the Eagles #429, auxiliary, having served as past president, and the West Mead #2, auxiliary. She had volunteered for over 30 years. She had traveled extensively in the USA and abroad to visit her grandchildren. She also traveled the states when she played in bowling tournaments. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Rossman and her husband Jim of Oil City, PA and Carolyn Hummel and her special friend, Tom, of Venango, PA, seven grandchildren, Mark Scott and his friend, Joe of Miami, FL, Chuck Scott and his wife, Dana of Boynton Beach, FL, Mary Hull and her husband, Steve of Jamestown, PA, Rolando Hites and her husband, David of Girard, Pa., Ivanna Bodak and her husband, Mike of Edinboro, PA, Karen McCaffery and her husband, Steve of Michigan, and Heidi Hadden of CA; two great-grandchildren, John Scott and Chance Scott; two great-great-grandchildren, Seth and Gavin, and her care taker of four years, Nancy Smock of Meadville, PA In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Hobbler, and Louis MacIntire, two sons, George Hadden and William Hadden, and her adoptive mother, Alice Nageotte. At Mary Ann's request, there will be no calling hours. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. All are to attend their church and pray for Mary.
