Mary Knierman

Mary Knierman, age 76, of Meadville, PA passed away on December 15, 2021 at Meadville Medical Center.  She was born at the former Spencer Hospital in Meadville, PA on February 6, 1945 to the late Albert and Zoe (Trimble) Knierman.

Mary formerly resided at Polk Center and then moved to Meadville where she happily lived for many years in the home shared with dear friends Jamie and Carole.  Mary especially enjoyed music, watching TV, traveling and spending time with her boyfriend, Bill.  She was retired from UCIP Doorways program.

A woman of few words, Mary would let you know her excitement with a hardy “hey!” especially when passing construction site workers.  Mary enjoyed watching others and the birds coming to the feeders outside the large picture window at home.  Mary was a classy lady, with a wry smile and a great laugh.  She will be missed by her housemates, her Supports Coordinator, her friends at UCIP Doorways program and all the staff that have loved and cared for Mary throughout the years.

Friends are invited to call on Friday December 17, 2021 from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335.  Mary will be laid to rest at Greendale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to UCIP, 623 State St., Meadville, PA 16335.
