Mary Siverling

February 4, 1924 — March 21, 2021

Mary Siverling, age 97, formerly of Saegertown, PA passed away March 21, 2021 at Ball Pavilion in Erie, PA.  She was born on February 4, 1924 in Braddock, PA to the late Michael and Amelia (Niemczyk) Shesky.  She married Homer Siverling on June 26, 1948.  He preceded her in death on July 10, 2012.

Mary was a graduate of Cochranton High School.  She worked at Channellock until her retirement.  She was a member of St. Brenadette in Saegertown, PA and later St. Gregory in North East, PA.

Mary greatly enjoyed her artwork, including painting portraits and nature scenes from her and Homer’s trips across country.

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Ramsdell and her husband, Gerald of NorthEast, PA, Marsha Furno of Saegertown,PA and Patricia Martin and her husband, Ron of Pittsburgh, PA and one son, Michael Siverling and his wife, Carole of Clymer, NY; 7 gradchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Ida Shesky of Meadville, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her infant twin, Veronica; her sister, Stella Stewart; her brother, Henry Shesky and her son-in-law, John Furno.

Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Friday March 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Agatha’s Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, PA 16335.  Burial will follow at St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s name to Brevillier Village, Ball Pavillion, 5416 East Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16511.
