Mary Elizabeth (Washburn) Clark, 82 of Rifle Colorado and formerly of Meadville, PA passed away on November 23, 2018 at her residence. Mary was born on February 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Hervey Edwin Washburn and Esther Mae (Colman) Washburn. She married LeRoy (Lee) Charles Clark on January 11, 1958. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1999. Mary was a 1954 graduate of Otto Township High School in Duke Center, PA. She was employed at American Viscose Co as a creeler for in the mid to late 60’s. For many years after that she was a full-time homemaker. In 1986, she obtained her Class B CDL. Afterward she worked as a school bus driver for Hubbard Bus Services, and a driver for Crawford Area Transportation Authority, driving both city and senior citizens buses. She also worked at County Market in the meat department and Cambridge Springs Manor as an aid. She was involved with several churches over the years. She taught in the 4-5 year old Sunday school at Calvary Baptist for many years. She was also very involved in their music department singing in the choir and in trios/quartets. She also attended Lyona Bible and New Beginnings Church of God. Mary also bowled in Friday night bowling leagues at Plaza Lanes and Tuesday Morning Ladies leagues at Center Bowl for many years in the 1970’s. She was also involved with the Thurston Balloon Classic as an observer, a volunteer position that she loved. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Reddy and her husband, Kevin of Casper, WY and LeAnne Clark of Rifle, CO; three sons, Jeff Clark and his wife, Lisa (Arnold) of Corpus Christi, TX, Scott Clark of Erie, PA and Tim Clark, Sr. and his wife, Traci (Hood) of Meadville, PA; eleven grandchildren, Anastacia Clark, Desiree Clark, Natasha Joquin, Jason Mook, Charlie Clark, Matt Clark, Joel Clark, Alicia Whiteside, Andrew Whiteside, Tim Clark, Jr. and Ashley Clark; fifteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Arlene Curtin of Olean, NY. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Ernest, Hervey, Jr; four sisters, Anne, Eleanor, Emma and Helen; a son, Charles (Chuck), numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, PA. Funeral Services to follow at the church with Pastor Temple Jarrell. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Guys Mills, PA.
