Mathilda Morrow

Mathilda B. Morrow, age 98, of Hartstown, PA, died on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Countryside Home, Mercer, PA. Mathilda was born December 22, 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA , a daughter of Curtis C. Baines and Bessie Mau Baines. Mathilda married N. Scott Morrow in 1944; he preceded her in death in 1994. Mathilda took great pride in her cooking and domestic skills. She loved watching birds at her feeder. She was a member of the Atlantic Congregational Church. Her pride and joy were her two grandsons, whom she adored. Survivors include her son, Robert A. Morrow and his wife Jane Morrow of Hartstown; grandsons Robert J. Morrow of New Brighton, PA and Brian D. Morrow of Meadville, PA The funeral and burial of Mathilda B. Morrow will be private and at the convenience of the family. Mathilda's family wishes to thank the staff of Countryside Home for their wonderful care. Memorials may be directed to any charity which benefits hospice or Alzheimer's. The final arrangements for Mathilda B. Morrow have been entrusted to the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory 130 N.
