Merle Lester Running

Merle married Gail Elizabeth Wishart on October 10, 1959; she survives. He retired after 39 years from Channellock as an inspector, packer, filer, polisher and drop hammer forger. He had also worked in farming, auto body repair and was a school bus driver. Merle was in the US Army road engineer in the US and Germany; 12th Battalian, Fort Carson, CO He enjoyed model railroading, building, traveling, play a lot of different games, gardening and keeping his lawn neat. He also loved to spend time with his wife, children and grandchildren and having cook-outs in the summer. Merle was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
