Michael Kribbs

October 15, 1943 — January 15, 2024

Michael B. Kribbs, 80, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Monday January 15, 2024 at Meadville Medical Center.  Michael was born on October 15, 1943 in Meadville, PA the son of the late James and Bertha (Smith) Kribbs.   Michael married Barbara Rizzo on February 27, 1981. She preceded in death October 25, 2020.

Michael attended Conneaut Lake High School. Through the years, Michael was a sales manager at various car dealerships and Guardian Warranty.  He owned Lake Motor Company.  Michael was a Vietnam Veteran in the Army where he was a Green Beret and he earned a Purple Heart. He was a former member of the Conneaut Lake Borough Council. He enjoyed collecting coins, playing Rummy, bowling leagues at Plaza Lanes and golfing.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Erin Brown of Conneaut Lake, PA; two grandchildren, Preston and Olivia Brown; two sisters, Carol Rossbach of Canton, OH and Cherlyn Bowers and her husband, Wayne of Meadville, PA and one brother, Stephen Kribbs and wife, Anne of Conway, SC.

In addition to his parents and wife, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, James Kribbs.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday January 21, 2024 from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral at 3:00 pm with Pastor Keith McIlwain of Trinity Global Methodist Church officiating at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory at 130 N. 2nd Street, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
