Michael Riley

Michael E. Riley, age 76, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Thursday September 23, 2021 at his residence with family by his side.  He was born on June 23, 1945 in Meadville, PA to the late Earl and Irene (Taylor) Riley.  He married Linda McGaughy on July 16, 1965.  She survives.

Michael graduated from Conneaut Lake High School.  He then attended Harry T. Kerr Skill Center to become a machinist.  He retired from Seco Warwick as a machinist.  He was a past president of the Union of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Michael was a member of Conneaut Lake Park Firehall and Vernon Township Firehall.  He had a passion for hunting and old cars and spent much of his time working on his farm, “Riley Acres.”

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Linda, he is survived by one daughter, Valerie Wilson (Charles) of Conneaut Lake, PA and one son, Michael E. Riley Jr. of Conneaut Lake, PA; two grandchildren, James Valentine of Conneaut Lake, PA and Andrew Wilson of Conneaut Lake, PA and his dog and best buddy, “King.”

Michael was preceded in death by his sisters, Carol Collins and Virginia Eller.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday September 27, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2 ^nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA.  Additional calling hours will be Tuesday September 28, 2021 from 12-1:00 pm at the funeral home.  A service will take place at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Joy Mumford officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Geneva Memorial Cemetery.
