Michelle Eileen Williams

Michelle Eileen Williams passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 surrounded by her family at Marquette Hospice House.  She was born November 7, 1962 to the late William A. and Barbara L. Williams.

Michelle was a 1981 MASH graduate.  She was a member of the Meadville Ice Skating Club.  She attended the Wilma Boyd Travel Agency in Pittsburgh, PA and the Penn State Campus at Sharon, PA.  She worked in pre-school education in Sharon, PA and she worked as a wrap-around aide for the Barber Center.  Michelle also did modeling.

She had many talents.  She loved to bake, sew doll clothes, write short stories and children’s books.  She planned to “revamp” anything from furniture to walls and enjoyed all of the DIY shows.  She was a mechanical whiz and could put anything together without reading the instructions.  She loved puzzles of any kind.

One of Michelle’s favorite things was to participate in the Charity Follies with her sister, Kim.  Michelle was a Girl Scout.  She knew sign language and taught her infant son how to sign.

Michelle was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her son, Joseph A. Williams at home; two sisters, Kathy (Gary) Yaeger of Meadville and Kimberly (Jason) Quidley of Durham, NC; a brother, Daniel (Robin) Williams of Lake Royale, NC and many nieces and nephews; Beth Yaeger (Patrick) Kurpius of Frederick, MD, Derek (Katie) Williams of Bozeman, MT, Chris (Sarah) Williams of Wilmington, NC and Jessica Williams(Tim) Harold of Philadelphia, PA.

Michelle was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Williams.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
