Mildred "Millie" Carroll

Mildred “Millie” (Roseberry) Carroll, age 68, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on October 12, 2020 after a six year battle with cancer.   She was born on June 9, 1952 in Erie, PA to the late Dorothy B.  (Hefner) and Robert T. Roseberry.

She received her GED, then went on to complete CNA schooling.  She also graduated from the Erie Clown School where she played the part of Miz Mick and loved to make balloon animals and make everyone smile.  She retired from Meadville Medical Center, where she worked as a CNA for over sixteen years.

Millie was a member of the International Moose Organization (Greenville Lodge #276).  Before her death, she was an active co-coordinator of the Eat & Travel Club of Meadville, a member of the MMC Retiree Club and an avid bowler in the Bad Bowlers League at Plaza Lanes and loved playing bingo and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, David Carroll of Meadville; children   Shannon Sterling of Virginia, Quentin Sterling of Alabama, Heather Allen (wife Kathy) of Meadville, and Shawn Sterling of Virginia. Her nine grandchildren, Joe, Erica, Jordan, JT, Michaela, Sienna, Nicolas, Nola and Lexie, as well as six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert T. Roseberry Jr. (Della) of Alabama, Frederick J Roseberry (Crystal) of Clarks Mills and William T. Roseberry Sr. of North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Robert Roseberry; her four sisters, Elizabeth North, Jessie Blair, Deborah Schwab, and Marian Amory; and one brother, James D. Roseberry.

Friends and family are welcomed to pay their respects during a viewing at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335 on Saturday, October 17, 2020 between 2 – 5 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Yolando G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335 and Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty St., Meadville, PA 16335.
