Monica Sue Moyer

Monica Sue (Kelley) Moyer, age 40, of Polk, PA passed away on April 10, 2016 at her residence. She was born September 29, 1975 in Sciotoville, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Theresa McHale who survive. She married Richard Moyer of Polk, PA. He survives. She had previously been married to Tim Sturrock of Guys Mills, PA. She was a 1994 Graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. She was attending Edinboro University of Pennsylvania studying to obtain her Master’s degree in Nursing. Most recently she was the physician’s educator at Vantage. She previously had worked at Hamot Hospital as an LPN in the cardiac care unit. Monica was of the Christian Faith. She loved horseback riding and reading books. She was a cosmetic educator and loved working outdoors. Monica is survived by her husband: Richard Moyer of Polk, PA, three sons: Tristan Sturrock and his fiancée Rachel Burrows of Meadville, PA, Trenton Sturrock of Guys Mills, PA, and Bradley Sturrock of Guys Mills, PA, a step-son: Lee Moyer of Polk, PA, her parents: Thomas and Theresa McHale of Conneaut lake, PA, four sisters: Trisha Wilson and her husband Larry of Meadville, PA, Billie Meacham and her husband Jeremy of Meadville, PA, Shelly Greiser of Conneaut Lake, PA and Jennifer McHale of Trenton, Florida, three brothers: Brent Gilchrist of Conneaut Lake, PA, Michael Kelley of Durham, NC, and Mark Kelley of Durham, NC. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 4 PM to 6 pm at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA. Private burial will be in the Geneva Memorial Cemetery.
