Nancy Lou Adkins

            Nancy Lou Adkins, age 79 of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.             She was born august 7, 1937 in Jamestown, New York the daughter of the late Fred and Wilma Stearns.  She married Jack H. Lee on October 14, 1955.  She then married Victor G. Adkins on April 8, 1972.             Nancy was part of the first class to graduate from the new Conneaut Lake High School in 1955.  Nancy was one of the contributing founders of the Battle of the Bulge in Conneautville.  She was a past president of the Business and Professional Women’s Club, past member of the Kiwanis, the Zonta, the Sweet Adeline’s and the past Director of the American Cancer Society from 1981 to 1998.             Nancy’s three greatest loves were her children, her grandchildren and her home.  She loved her flowers, her garden and feeding the birds.  She touched a multitude of hearts as they passed through on their life’s journey.             Nancy is survived by two sons: Ric H. Lee and his significant other Laura of Conneaut Lake, PA, Timothy A. Lee of Meadville, PA, three daughters: Shawnel L. Toomey and her husband Terry of Meadville, PA Sonya L. Martin and her husband Tim of Espyville and Wendy S. Shakespeare and her husband Rich of Pittsburgh, PA, three grandsons: Joshua Lee, Forrest Lee and Mark Montgomery, six granddaughters: Danielle Lee and her boyfriend Brad, Deanna Atchison and her husband Curtis, Megan Dupont and her fiancé JJ, Jacklin Lee, Emma Stromberg and Stephanie Shakespeare, three great-grandchildren: Kiizera Lee,  Kiizeke Lee, and Harper Tyree, a brother: David Stearns and his wife Pat of Conneaut Lake, PA, and many nieces and nephews.             In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by both husbands, Jack H. Lee and Victor G.
