Nancy Benninghoff

Nancy L. Benninghofff, age 72, of Meadville passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her residence. She was born September 27, 1946 to the late Donald and Betty (Willets) Stevens. She married Gordon Benninghoff April 3, 1965. He survives.
Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Meadville High School. She was employed by Talon for 6 years then left to raise her children. She then worked at Cargo Cleaners for a total of 32 years until her retirement. She was of Protestant faith.
Nancy was a loving mother to no end. She loved flowers, helping with yard work, taking fall rides into the Allegheny National Forest and spending time with friends and meeting new people.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gordon; one daughter, Deborah Hites and her husband, Delmar of Lorraine, OH; one son, Christopher Benninghoff of Pittsburgh, PA; three sisters, Shirley Greenlach of Meadville, Jeanne Stevens of Meadville and Sandy Crider and her Husband Tim of Butler; one brother, Charles Stevens and his wife, Alice of Meadville and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a Brother-in-law, Bill Greenlach.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 6PM until 8PM at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA. There will be a private service and a private burial at Greendale Cemetery.
