Nancy Mccain

Nancy Emma McCain, 78, went to be with the Lord on February 14th, 2019 in Houston, Texas. She was born on September 7th, 1940 to Frank and Violet Caldwell in Cambridge Springs, PA. After graduating from Cambridge Springs High School, she married and had 3 children.

She was married to her second husband, Theodore McCain for 36 years. She loved gardening, canning food, baking, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a big heart and was very loving and caring, and she would help others in any way she could. She loved animals and being involved with caring for children. She was always looking for more flowers to add to her ever-growing flower gardens. She also enjoyed taking pictures and collecting Precious Moments and other knick knacks. She lived in Pennsylvania for 74 years before moving to Houston, Texas with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Theodore; her brother, Ralph Caldwell; her sister, Edna Baccus; and an infant child, Joan.

Surviving relatives include her brother, Roland Caldwell of Ravenna, OH; her children Lisa Essa and her husband, Chuck of Houston, TX; Elizabeth McGaughey and her husband, Robert of Meadville, PA, and James McDuff and his wife, Erin of West Springfield, PA; her grandchildren Christa Hauck and her husband, Michael, Chelsea Stinedurf, Jess McDuff-Brown and her husband Dylin, Niki McDuff, Emily Essa, Adam Essa, Breeya McCarty-Hammer and Devon McCarty-Hammer; great grandchildren Kanevan, Kieriana, and Brooklynn and many nieces, nephews, and close family friends and loved ones.

She will be cremated and brought back to Pennsylvania for a memorial service at a later time. She was loved dearly and will be missed by many.
