Naomi Cornell

Naomi D. (Hall) Cornell, age 85, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Monday October 31, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center after a brief illness.  She was born on November 5, 1936 in Geneva, PA at her family farm to the late Patterson and Bernice “Daisy” (Hirt) Hall.  She was then raised by Alton and Clara (Hall) Ferry.  She married Charles H. Cornell on July 29, 1966.  He survives.

Naomi graduated from Conneaut Lake High School in 1955.  She enjoyed visiting with family and gardening.  She loved to show off her blooms.

In addition to her husband of 56 years, she is survived by her 7 children, Sharon (Gary) Yost of Cochranton, PA, Coleen Roy of Cleveland, OH, Sonja Hudson of FL, Cindy (Craig) Gray of Corry, PA, Coral Hudson (Ken Anderton) of Conneaut Lake, PA, Kris Cornell (Julie Dillaman) of Conneaut Lake, PA and  Rhonda Lambing (Tracy Singletary)  of Meadville, PA; 12 grandchildren, Josh, Barb, Steven, Adam, Ben, Michael, Ashley, Cody, Jayden, Morgan, Amber and Kyle; 8 great grandchildren and one brother, Steuart Hall of Conneaut Lake, PA.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Arthur Hudson; her daughter, Jackie Caszatt; her son-in-law, George Roy; 3 sisters, Helen Waight, Ursela Probst and Leola Cuthbert and 2 brothers, Fred Hall and Bernard Hall.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday November 5, 2022 from 11 am- 1 pm at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2 ^nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.  Funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with her daughter Pastor Cindy Gray officiating.  Naomi will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial.
