Nathalie J. Price

Nathalie " Nat" J. Price , age 93, of Meadville, passed away on April 19, 2015 at Wesbury. She was born on August 24, 1921, in Espyville, a daughter of Roland and Algie (Fonner) Hatton. She married Walter "Red" Price, on December 20, 1940. Red passed away on June 15, 2009. A graduate of the North Shenango High School, in Espyville, she worked at Little Wirtz Drug Storewhich she referred to as her favorite job; and she retired from D.I.C. Tool in 1984. Mrs. Price, was a lifelong member of the Bethany Methodist Church which is located in her favorite place in Meadville's Fifth Ward. She was a longtime Sunday School teacher at Bethany. She enjoyed bowling, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, knitting, and playing board games with her family. Surviving are: 3 sons-- James Price and his wife Cathy, Jerald Price and his wife Maria, and Donald Price and his wife Carol; all of Meadville. Grandchildren: Donald Price, Scott Price, Michael Price, Stephen Price, and Shelly Parks; also 6 great grandchildren; 3 step granddaughters and several step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 2 sisters: Geraldine Heil of Leesburg, Florida, and Martha Western of Denver, Colorado. In addition to her parents, and her husband "Red" Price, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Harold Hatton and Kenneth Hatton, and a sister Frances Smith. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 1 to 3 PM, at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville. A funeral will be held at 3 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Bobin of the Bethany Methodist Church, Officiating. Interment will be in Espyville Cemetery. Memorials , in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Bethany Methodist Church, Wadsworth Avenue, Meadville, Pa 16335
