Nicholas Stephen Mischenko

Nicholas (Nic) S. Mischenko age 77, of Cochranton, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Marquette Hospice House.             Nic was born in Philadelphia on September 13, 1940 to the late Dr. Nicholas J. Mischenko and Marion (Greene) Mischenko.  He married Dolores Peterson on September 16, 1960. She preceded him in death in March, 1992.  He later married Janet Tidd Shuffstall and they enjoyed 18 years of marriage.  She survives him.             Nic retired in 2000 from sales.  He attended Faith United Methodist Church.              In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by his children, Michael Mischenko and his wife Lisa of Brementon, WA, Michaels Children, Eric and his wife Fransiska , Sarah Henry and her husband Chris, both of WA , Darcy  Shea and her husband Ken of Kansas City, their sons, Joshua and his husband Robert Rios, Jacob  and his fiance Gabriella Jenkins, both of Las Vegas, Janet's Children, Su L. Wheaton and her husband Bruce of Conneaut Lake, PA, D. Joy Hall of Cleveland OH, LuCinda Gammell and her husband David of Hamburg, IA, nine additional Grandchildren, Adam, Alex Autumn, Amber, David, Alexandria, Austin, Allie, and Adrienne, plus thirteen great-grandchildren.  His beloved pets, Patches and Lucky.             There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Please make memorials to Greenwood Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 15444 Rt. 285, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316, Marquette Hospice House, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or Faith United Methodist Church, 15439 Rt. 285, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.  Please sign Nic’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com.             Arrangements are under the care of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St. Meadville, PA 16335.
