Norma Porter

        Norma C. Porter, age 81, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at home surrounded with her family.  She was born March 22, 1936 in Geneva, PA the daughter of the late Norman G. and Irene (Sankey) Porter.           Norma attended Conneaut Lake High School. She worked for a number of years at St. Pauls Home in Greenville and various places while raising her 6 boys. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She was a member of the Pumphouse 45 and a life member of the Park Firehall, Conneaut Lake. She also loved gardening at the farm and spending time with her boys.           Norma is survived by her six boys; Robert Carner and his wife Marilyn of Augusta, GA; Richard Carner of Conneaut Lake; David Carner of Conneaut Lake; James Carner of Conneaut Lake; Donald Carner of Conneaut Lake; and Timothy Carner of Conneaut Lake. She is survived by 10 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 brothers; Jim Porter of Conneaut Lake, PA; and Bill Porter and his wife Ellen of Harmonsburg, PA.  Norma was preceded in death by her parents and many loved ones.           Per request of the family, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.           Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, Rocco R.
