Olive Morrell

Olive E. Morrell, age 91, of Conneaut Lake, PA went to be with her Savior on Thursday November 16, 2023 at Meadville Medical Center.  She was born on September 8, 1932 near Corsica, PA, where she was raised with her 12 siblings, to the late Foster and Inez (Martz) Bish.  She married Richard C. Morrell on February 3, 1957.  He preceded her in death on February 25, 2010.

Olive worked in the cash office at Kmart for 25 years.  She was an active member of Lighthouse Community Church.  She enjoyed cooking and baking, sewing and quilting.  She sang in the church choir, Living Christmas Tree and Messiah for many years.  She could be found doing her daily devotions every morning.

Olive is survived by her son, Keith Morrell and his wife, Janine of Meadville, PA; her grandchildren, Christopher Morrell and his wife, Heather of Meadville, PA and Matthew Morrell and his wife, Rebecca of Cochranton, PA; her great grandchildren, Colton, Charlotte, Paige, Brooke and Alianna Morrell; one sister, Mary Jane Miller of Danville, OH; one brother, Darrel Bish of Campbell,NY; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday November 20, 2023 from 1-4pm at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2nd Street, Conneaut Lake, PA.  A funeral service will be conducted at 4pm at the funeral home.  Olive will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg.
