Pamela Vogan

Pamela J. Vogan (Pam), 48, of Navasota, TX, passed away peacefully at her home on November 11, 2024. She was born in Meadville, PA, to the late Ronald and Patricia (Melton) Vogan.

Pam graduated from Meadville High School in 1995, before relocating to Monroe, MI, where she spent nearly two decades building a life she cherished. She had a deep love for the farm life, always surrounded by animals, especially her beloved dogs, parrots, and her cherished cat, Scrappy. Her compassion for animals was just one aspect of her generous, kind-hearted nature.

Pam was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her sister, Brandy Ward (Nick); brother Brian Anderson; her aunt, Joyce Palmiero (Mike); her uncle, Thomas Melton (Carol); and her nephew and godson, Mason, the son of Nathan Peters (Calla). Pam’s special bond with her long-time friend, Nancy Mangilo-Bitner (Bill), who became a part of her life through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program 43 years ago, was one of the many cherished relationships she nurtured throughout her life. Pam is also lovingly remembered by her dear friends, Tina Nickoloff Noland and Kristy Shorthose (Ronnie).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Vogan Jr.

Pam's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those closest to her left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of compassion, loyalty, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
