Patricia C. Smith

Patricia C. Smith, age 64, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away at home on December 2, 2018 after a courageous 3.5 year battle with esophageal cancer.  She was born August 15, 1954 in Bethesda, MD to the late Daniel P. and Doris S. (Smith) Crosley. Patricia was a 1972 North Allegheny High school graduate and earned a degree in Aquatic Environmental from Allegheny College in 1976. She was formerly employed as a consultant by Dell EMC, Documentum Inc., Wang Laboratories, and also was employed by CTFA Inc. She also studied at Leadership Meadville 2.  Pat was a member of the Bark Park board and Paws Hand Delivered therapy dogs for over seven years.  She loved boating on the lake and a good motorcycle ride.  She was a world traveler to such places as China, Nepal, Africa, Greece, Hawaii and the Caribbean.  She was an adventurous spirit. Pat is survived by her two fur babies, Smokey and Cooper and her only sister Janice Crosley of Irwin, PA.  She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family are invited to call at Dickson Funeral Home& Crematory in Conneaut Lake on Thursday, December 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  The funeral service will be at the funeral home Friday, December 7 at 11 a.m. A private burial will take place in Cochranton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335 and The Conneaut Lake Bark Park, 12810 Foust Rd, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316. Arrangements have been entrusted to DICKSON FUNERAL HOME, 130 N. 2ND ST., CONNEAUT LAKE, PA, ROCCO TEDESCO III, SUPERVISOR.
