Patricia Peters, age 90, of Meadville, PA passed away on October 4, 2026. She leaves behind a loving family and a strong legacy of faith and kindness.

Patricia was born on June 3, 1936 in Grove City, PA to Sherman and Leota (McDowell) Patterson. She married her beloved husband, Lesley Peters on August 28, 1953. Together, they focused on family, faith and hard work. Patricia dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She worked for the City of Meadville and retired after many years. She also volunteered at her church and in the community, always looking for ways to help others.

Patricia had a deep love for God and her faith guided her life. She was always ready to help those in need, offering support and comfort. Her home was a welcoming place and her kindness touched many lives.

Patricia created many happy memories with her family and friends. She loved hosting family gatherings and holidays, filling those times with laughter and joy.

Her family was her greatest joy and the love she gave will continue through each generation. She taught her family important lessons, shared her love with them and set an example of faith and generosity.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Lesley; her son, John; her infant granddaughters, Jessica and Melissa Hall and her brother, Marshall Peterson.

She is survived by her sisters, Ruth Willyoung and Martha Dailey; her children, Dawna Peters, James Peters and his wife, Mary and Bonnie Hall; her grandchildren, Jennifer Reynolds, Stacy Hower, Elizabeth Boyce, Christopher Reynolds, Emily Starlin and her husband, John, Kevin Hall and his girlfriend, Cori and her great-grandchildren, Willow, Calin, Ivy, Oliver, Aden, Dennis “DJ” and Hunter.

Patricia will be missed by all who knew her. Although her chair may be empty, her love and the memories she created will always live on in the hearts of her family and in the lives she touched.

Her love was steady, her heart was kind, her faith was strong and her biggest legacy is the family she cherished.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday October 9, 2026 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA. Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 pm.
