Patricia J. Rawson, age 80 of Conneaut Lake, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. She was born on February 6, 1934 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late John and Catherine Jamison Shoemaker. She married Jack A. Rawson on November 26, 1955. He preceded her in death on October 2, 2003. She graduated from Cochranton High School and in 1955 received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from the State Teachers College, Indiana, Pennsylvania. She taught for Linesville-Conneaut-Summit School district before becoming a mother and a homemaker. She continued her teaching through private music lessons. Patricia was a member of the High Street Community Church, Conneaut Lake and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She shared her love of Christ and touched many hearts along the way. She was an active member of the choir and sang in many weddings. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, gardening and canning, sewing, quilting, baking pies and cookies and preparing holiday meals. She especially enjoyed nature and fishing. She is survived by two daughters, Vickie West and her husband, Ronald of Meadville, PA and Cathy Fobes and her husband, Jeffrey of Springboro, PA; two sons, Douglas Rawson of Cranesville, PA and Scott Rawson and his wife, Lisa of Lake City, PA; ten grandchildren, Joshua West, Nicole Skias, Kelly Fobes, Heather Fobes, Lindsey Fobes, Brittney Fobes, Andy Rawson, Leah Rawson, Tyler Connelly and Julia Rawson; seven great-grandchildren; Taylor, Italia, Vincenzo, Lindsey, Benjamin, Gavin and Isabella; and a brother, John Shoemaker of Cochranton, PA Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA , and from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday at the High Street Community Church, 19517 U.S. Highway 322, Conneaut Lake, PA. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at the High Street Community Church, with Pastor Bill Rogers, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
