Patricia Ann Thompson, age 89, of Meadville, PA passed away on Thursday April 3, 2025 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. She was born in Oil City, PA on September 15, 1935 to the late Burton and Elizabeth (Douglas) Hollabaugh. She was married to Edward Thompson for 50 years.
Pat's journey through life was marked by her loving nature and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. Her life was a testament to the simple yet profound roles she cherished most: wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love knew no bounds, and her family was the heart of her existence. To those who had the privilege of knowing her, Pat was the embodiment of care and warmth, always ready with a listening ear. Though she has left us at the age of 89, her spirit and legacy continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Jay Thompson of Meadville, PA; her daughter-in-law, Candy Thompson of Titusville, PA; two grandchildren, Tricia Meinert and her husband, John of Carlton, PA and Ryan Thompson and his wife, Alyson of Titusville, PA; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Brinley Thompson of Titusville, PA and Jelyn, Jaleece and Jacey Meinert of Meadville, PA; great-great grandchild, Amaia Meinert of Meadville, PA and nieces, Pam Hollabaugh and Christine Sharp and her husband, Cody all of Indiana.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward “Putt” Thompson and her brother, Burton Hollabaugh.
There will be no public services.
